The Aquatilis Pod - Posted Wednesday, 2nd August 2006 by Don

"The Aquatilis Pod captures all the charm of its larger counterpart, Aquatilis Caverna, while remaining light on CPU usage. Liam is to be commended for releasing this more accessible version of the Aquatilis room to the community."

Aquatilis Caverna in its beta release has been one of the community's favorite aquatic metarooms. However, because of its vast size, it is sometimes a strain on the system resources of older or smaller computers. The Aquatilis Pod (download) is the perfect solution to this quandary. About the same size as Zareb's Aquatopia - a featured release of CCSF 2005 - the Aquatilis Pod captures all the charm of its larger counterpart, while remaining light on CPU usage. Liam is to be commended for releasing this more accessible version of the Aquatilis room to the community.

I'd strongly recommend you give the Aquatilis Pod a try if you had trouble with Aquatilis Caverna, or if you're unfamiliar with this aquatic metaroom. It has a unique charm, with its own intricate ecosystem and unique species of plants and animals. I think the Kyutai whales have become my favorite Creatures fauna. With their strong social system, and their penchant for playing with the toys, they seem almost more like creatures than critters, themselves. The room is worth downloading and injecting into a world just for a chance to get to know the whales!

Many thanks again to Liam and all the folks who contributed to the development of this fine metaroom.
